The AIME website allows for an interactive reading of the text. On the left hand side is the text of the book, loaded with hyperlinks that allow the reader to read around/behind what is being written: in this instance, clicking on a brief mention of Simondon in the text takes the reader to a more extensive discussion - in the centre - of his work and how it has been used within AIME by Latour. This discussion in turn links to the text column on the right, a collection of comments and references including, at the bottom, an extract from Simondon’s 1958 work Du Mode d’existence des objets techniques. The reader can travel through all of the AIME book in this way.
